COLLAGRAPH COLLAGES
Layering and combining media are an important part of my image making process. I print the collagraph, then create a background for it with handmade decorative papers, gold leaf, paint sticks, monoprints. Demeter of the Mysteries, Inanna: Queen of Heaven & Earth, Lilith: The Independent One and Snake Goddess of Crete are collagraph collages. They are large, 30 by 40 inches. Relationships collages are small, 5 by 7 inches.
Healing Mandala is a collage with a mylar center in which you see yourself mirrored. Center Lights Up! is a Tibetan mandala for meditation and healing.
